Manilva is situated on the coast on the southwestern outskirts of Malaga (about 35 kilometres from Gibraltar and 97 kilometres from Malaga) and shares its border with the province of Cadiz in southern Andalusia, Spain.
Manilva is widely regarded as a fairytale country, as it is surrounded by enchanting vineyards, small hills, tiny rivers, mesmerising valleys and a large limestone ridge just behind. The divine and proud surface fills the hearts and souls of visitors with passion. Despite the touch of modernisation and new construction of skyscrapers in the residential areas, this beautiful city defines the old Spanish temperament and its magnificent views preserve the fascinating history of the Roman and Moorish times. An aqueduct and an antediluvian Roman sulphur baths still stand, unpretentiously depicting the history left several centuries earlier. The prevailing simplicity stands out in this beautiful Costa del Sol town.
